Modern Clocks – An Essential for Everyday Living
It is often said that there are only two things in life which are absolutely certain, and they are death and taxes. However, whoever said that missed something out: that is that everyone, without exception, needs to be able to tell what time it is – and often many times a day or night. This is why there is such a huge range of modern clocks available in all sorts of designs to cater for every taste.
Modern clocks include wall clocks, mantel clocks, illuminated clocks, world time zone clocks, alarm clocks, digital clocks, mirror wall clocks, pendulum clocks, large clocks, small clocks – the list is almost endless.
For instance, in mantel clocks, the manufacturer Kare produces a vintage Roman wood mantel clock which is square and comprised of a sheesham wood surround with brass fittings and Roman numerals. Arti & Mestieri have the Robin mantel clock in a silver metal which is described as funky and unusual. It is most certainly both of those and has to be seen to be appreciated.
Roco Verre have a Roman Louis mantel clock in black or white, and a block Louis mantel clock which has a black body and is available in a choice of different face colours.
When it comes to wall clocks, you are spoilt for choice. Roco Verre produce a gloss lunar hand clock which is just the movement in a choice of colours and an hour hand and minute hand. You can then choose from a set of numerals to fit around the clock – again in a choice of colours and in numbers or Roman numerals – so in effect creating your own design.
There are also illuminated modern clocks which serve the purpose of telling the time and providing light as well, and there is even a mirror version which acts as a mirror in addition. All that within one clock! It begins to remind you of a mobile phone which these days is actually a portable computer that just happens to have a phone included.
You can even have custom wall clocks made to your own design and which can contain your company logo, your pub sign, your football club logo, or anything else.
